Milk Chocolate, Myrrh and Gunpowder

Milk Chocolate, Myrrh and GunpowderI feel like I should have worn a 13. But I don’t own any, sadly, so…here we are with this one!

Having said yesterday that the Lupers hadn’t been all that memorable for me, I remembered the Bonbons. There’s something about BPAL’s chocolate scent – dark, milk or white – which is just SO DAMN SEXY. It’s so so good every time it appears in what I own, and I love it. In Black Temple Burlesque, Troupe, for instance, it’s boozy and gorgeous. Here, it’s a sweet carrier for the sneezable gunpowder.

It’s lovely, whilst it lasts. And that isn’t all that long on me, sadly. Maybe it was because I was using a decant and being more cautious than usual, or maybe this scent is just like this. But in any case, today it was a skin clinger, lying very close to the skin and not really doing a whole lot of ‘throw’. It’s a damn shame, too, because this chocolate note is to die for. Seriously. If you try no other BPAL, try a chocolate one, because…it kicks Cocoa Chanel into a cocked hat.
