It swings to, and fro, to, and fro, like the censer of a priest. Swooping up and down in pitch with heat and movement. There’s something cool, yet grandiose about it…cold, large, open to a heaven that either isn’t there, or if it is, is indifferent.
Like every scent from the Only Lover’s Left Alive* collection I have tried (barring one, which was full of white flowers, which are, ironically, my bete noir), I love this almost without reservation. It is not the most unique, but it is perhaps the most statuesque.
*I will be doing more of these. Also, you should see this film. I love it.
